拙訳


偽りない二つの心が相結ぶ
その邪魔をどうか僕にさせないで
変わりゆく相手を目の前におのれ自ら変わるなら
無かったことにしましょうと言われて誓いを破るなら

そんな愛は愛じゃない。愛とは不動の旗印
嵐の中にもこの目に見え、けして揺らぐことは無い
彷徨うすべての船に向け、針路を示す天の星
人が測るはその高さ、人が知らぬはその価値（ねうち）

唇や頬の赤ならば、時が過ぎれば色褪せよう
だが時は愛を弄し得ない
わずかに時が経つうちに愛が移ろうことはなく
その長らえること今際まで

　　この詩が真理に背き、しかと証さらば
　　我が人生の詩作、人の世の愛、すべては偽り

Let me not to the marriage of true minds

Admit impediments. Love is not love

Which alters when it alteration finds,

Or bends with the remover to remove:


O, no! it is an ever-fixed mark,

That looks on tempests and is never shaken;

It is the star to every wandering bark,

Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.


Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks

Within his bending sickle's compass come;

Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,

But bears it out even to the edge of doom.


     If this be error and upon me proved,

     I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
